A festive sewing workshop for ages 7 and up | All appliqué materials included

Get into the Christmas spirit at On A Sew with our hands-on Christmas Appliqué Workshop – a fun and beginner-friendly session where you’ll turn fabric scraps into your own festive Christmas tree appliqués.

During this 2hour workshop, you’ll use a selection of colourful fabric scraps to design and create your Christmas trees. Once you’re happy with your design, we’ll show you how to iron your appliqué onto your chosen garment before using the sewing machine to stitch it securely into place.

Bring along a jumper, T-shirt, pair of trousers or even a bag from home and give it a festive makeover! Whether you keep your Christmas tree traditional or mix up the colours, fabrics and prints, every design will be completely unique.

No sewing experience is needed. We’ll guide you through using the sewing machine and sewing your appliqué in place, making this a lovely introduction to sewing as well as a fun Christmas activity.

Perfect for adults, teens, children and families who fancy getting creative and giving something they already own a little handmade Christmas twist.
