Cancellation, Attendance & Studio Policy

Adult Sewing Sessions
Our adult sewing sessions run in small groups with limited availability. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms:

Refunds
• A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to receive a full refund.
• If you cancel less than 14 days before your session, we are unable to offer a refund.
• Where possible, we may offer to move you to another session, subject to availability. This cannot be guaranteed.

Missed sessions
• If you miss a session, we are unable to move you into another class, as sessions are fully booked.
• Missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Children’s Sewing Lessons
Children’s lessons follow the same cancellation policy as adult sessions due to fixed timetables and limited spaces.

Refunds
• A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to receive a full refund.
Cancellations after 14 days
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the session are non-refundable.

Missed sessions
• If a lesson is missed, we are unable to move your child into another class, as all sessions are fully booked.

Arrival & Lateness Policy (Adults & Children)
• Please arrive on time for your session.
• To allow proper setup and preparation, you will not be permitted to enter the studio earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled session.

Children’s Pick-Up Policy
• Children must be collected promptly at the end of their lesson.
• Late pick-ups impact staff availability and disrupt subsequent sessions.
• If a child is collected late three times within one term, they will not be permitted to join the following term.

If We Need to Cancel a Session
In the unlikely event that On A Sew needs to cancel a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances:
• You will be offered a full refund or a credit towards a future session.
• We will contact you directly using the details provided at booking.

These policies are in place to protect teaching time, ensure fairness to all participants, and allow our small, community-focused studio to run smoothly and sustainably.
