In collaboration with World Vision

This International Women’s Day, we’re sewing with purpose.

For 75 years, World Vision has worked alongside communities around the world, supporting children and families to build brighter, safer futures. This year, we’re focusing on girls — and the very real challenges many face around menstrual health and period stigma.

In this special volunteer workshop, we’ll be sewing reusable period pads that will help support girls who lack access to safe menstrual products.

This is not just a sewing session/class.
It’s a space for awareness, conversation, and practical action.

All materials are kindly provided by the charity, and this session is open to anyone with some sewing experience — if you’ve attended a beginner lesson with me before, you’re very welcome to join and lend a hand.

Please note, this is not a sewing lesson, so you’ll need to feel confident threading a sewing machine independently. I’ll of course be there to guide the process, but this session is about coming together to sew with purpose rather than learning the basics.

Together, we’ll create something small that can make a meaningful difference.

What to expect:

  • A calm, supportive studio environment
  • Step-by-step guidance
  • All materials provided
  • Limited to 12 volunteers

Let’s come together, use our skills for good, and stand alongside girls around the world.

Spaces are limited — booking is essential.
