Kids' Scrap Scrunchie Workshop

In this fun 1-hour workshop, children will learn how to turn fabric scraps into their very own handmade scrunchies while building confidence on the sewing machine.

Our workshops are taught in small, friendly groups where everyone is guided step by step. Suitable for complete beginners as well as children who have sewn before.

Who can join?

Children aged 7–12 years.

What will we make?

Each child will make one or more colourful scrap fabric scrunchies, learning how to transform leftover fabrics into something practical and beautiful. They'll discover that even the smallest pieces of fabric can become something special.

Nothing at all!

What we provide

Everything your child needs, including sewing machines, a colourful selection of fabric scraps, elastic, thread, right- and left-handed scissors, and all the tools and materials needed to complete their scrunchies.
