Kids' Quilted Tablet Sleeve Sewing Workshop (Ages 10–14) 21st August

In this 4-hour workshop, participants will learn how to sew their very own quilted laptop sleeve while building confidence on the sewing machine and learning skills they can use for years to come.

Our workshops are taught in small, friendly groups where everyone is guided step by step. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners but is equally suitable for those with some sewing experience.

Who can join

Children aged 10-14 years.

What we'll make

Each participant will create a stylish, quilted laptop sleeve, perfect for protecting tablets while travelling to school or college or a cute little sleeve to carry your favourite book. They'll learn how to quilt fabric, sew with a lining, and achieve a beautifully finished project to take home.

Workshop time

10:00am–2:00pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.

What we provide

Everything else! We provide sewing machines, fabrics, wadding, thread, right- and left-handed scissors, and all the tools and materials needed to complete the project. If your child has a fabric they'd love to use, they're very welcome to bring it along.
