These beautiful handmade pieces have been lovingly stitched by one of my 13-year-old students, who has been sewing with me for the past two years. In that time, she has created the most incredible range of makes — from trousers and dresses to bags and accessories — and it has been such a joy to watch her confidence, creativity, and skills grow.
All of the items in this small collection are made from 100% cotton, and some pieces have been crafted using upcycled clothing — giving pre-loved fabrics a new life while keeping waste to a minimum.
Sewing brings her so much pride and happiness, and I’m incredibly proud of how far she’s come. She has sold some of her handmade items before, but when sales slowed down she lost a bit of motivation and stopped creating as much. To help her keep going — and to celebrate the wonderful maker she is becoming — I’m selling her remaining pieces here in the studio and online.
These fabric pots, mini zip pouches, and bookmarks are all beautifully made, full of personality, and perfect as Christmas gifts, birthday presents, or even a thoughtful treat for yourself. Every purchase makes a huge difference and helps encourage a young creative to continue doing what she loves.
100% of the money goes directly back to her.
Thank you for supporting her creativity and helping nurture the next generation of makers.
