Get into the festive spirit and make your very own Christmas Bow Cushion in this fun, quick and beginner-friendly sewing workshop.

No sewing experience is needed – this is a great way to learn some of the basics of sewing while having a little festive fun!

What you'll make

You’ll make a festive bow-shaped cushion using red and white cotton fabric, ready to take home at the end of the workshop.

What you'll learn

This workshop is designed to introduce you to some simple but essential sewing skills, including:

• How to use a sewing machine

• Sewing straight lines

• Working with seam allowances

• Turning your sewing the right way out

• Stuffing and shaping your cushion

• Basic hand sewing to finish your project

It’s a quick and easy project that gives you the chance to practise the basics without feeling overwhelmed – and you’ll leave with something festive that you’ve made yourself!

What you need to bring

Nothing! We’ll provide the red and white cotton fabric, stuffing, sewing machines, tools and everything else you’ll need to complete your cushion.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the workshop.
