Let's sew together!?

We hope you can join us for another social sewing event!

Sewing can sometimes be a bit quiet so how does sewing with friends while having some nibbles and drinks sound?

How it works

It's really simple and fun, all you have to do is bring a sewing project or two plus your sewing machine. If you don't want to travel with your sewing machine, don't worry we have 6 available to hire. 

We'll be stopping around 1pm to have some nibbles so please let me know any dietary requirements.

For anyone who wants to have a go, there will be an overlocker available and I (Marcela) will be on hand if you need some help! We'll also have plenty of scissors, pins, tape measures, large cutting mat, rotary cutters and an iron. 

This isn't a sewing lesson but hopefully we can all help each other with any sewing questions. 

When and where

Saturday 21st September from 12.00 till 16.00

Hive Café 33 Palace Rd, London SW2 3HS (they will be serving hot drinks if you want to grab yourself one)

There are lots of buses from Clapham Common, Brixton and Streatham and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Café from these bus stops. OR it's a 15 minute walk from Tulse Hill overground 

Cost 

£20 per person for entrance including food. £30 per person includes sewing machine hire and food

On your own?

You may already know but just in case you haven't heard.. the sewing community is full of kind and friendly people! Plus I'll also be on my own so come and hang out with me :)
